Therapy Centre

Our therapy centre offers physiotherapy and hand therapy on an outpatient basis. Prior to treatment, you will receive a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment.
Programmes may include any of the following treatments:

• Acupuncture
• Back Conditioning Programme
• Biofeedback
• Cardiovascular Equipment
• Custom designed home exercise programmes
• Electrotherapy
• Ergonomic Advice and Training
• Fitness Instruction
• Manual therapy and spinal manipulation
• Sports specific rehabilitation
• Ultrasound
• Hand Therapy - Custom-made splint service

Physiotherapy can be arranged independently by the patient or through written referral, either by calling or writing to the Therapy Centre.

Appointments and Referrals - Outpatients

Complete referral form and/or send referral letter and arrange appointment with receptionist.

Appointments - Inpatients (Please note that we don't make appointments for inpatients).

All referrals for therapy must be documented in the patient's notes. For routine procedures, arrange blanket referral cover in advance with the physiotherapy manager. To arrange a referral when in hospital, bleep the inpatient physiotherapist or ask a nurse.
