Services and Facilities - Nursing
The Nursing Department provides a comprehensive nursing service, undertaking the nursing assessment and management of patients, from admission to discharge. Close liaison is maintained between nursing and consultant users to meet both the patient's and the doctor's needs.
The hospital currently employs approximately 120 nursing staff (floors, OPD, X-ray, ITU, Theatres). Support services include Health Care Assistants, Operating Assistants and Ward Receptionists.
We have clinical nurse specialists for our main specialist areas and they may be contacted through the hospital switchboard:
