If you know or suspect that your patient has an infection on admission, please notify the infection control nurse or microbiologist straight away.

Bleep 093 through switchboard for first point of contact, immediate advice and liaison with the consultant microbiologists.

Consultant Microbiologists

Dr Peter Wilson is the allocated lead microbiologist for the Princess Grace Hospital. Available 24 hours a day, he is on an on-call rota with the other consultant microbiologists.
