Utilising sound clinical judgement and informed interpretation of findings is at the core of our physiotherapist's skills.
All physiotherapists employed at The Princess Grace Hospital are specialists in the outpatient management of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries.
Our clinic can assist in the treatment and management of:
- Post-Operative Rehabilitation
- Post-Fracture Rehabilitation
- Back and Neck Pain
- Sports Injuries
- Work Related Injuries
- General Joint and Soft Tissue Dysfunction
- Headaches of musculoskeletal origin

The Princess Grace Hospital offers a variety of Physical Therapies including:
Physiotherapy - A dymanic profession that used a range of treatment techniques to restore movement and function within the body.
Hand therapy - A specialised service treating conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow.
Massage (Remedial, sports and post-operative) - Manual soft tissue techniques to help relieve pain, reduce stress and promote healing, range of motion and flexibility. Lymphatic drainage techniques are also offered.
Fitness Training - incorporating the use of computer software and fat testing equipment, non-injured individuals are given a fitness screening. Personalised fitness training is delivered via Catalyst.
Our therapy centre is based at 30 Devonshire Street and offers a full range of physical therapies on an inpatient and outpatient basis, including physiotherapy, hand therapy, yoga, pilates, chiropractics and personal training.
A comprehensive physiotherapy assessment is made and treatment programmes may comprise of the following:

Making Appointments and Referrals
Outpatients:
Complete referral form and/or send referral letter
Inpatient:
All referrals for therapy must be documented in the patients notes
Arrange blanket referral cover in advance with the physiotherapy manager for routine procedures
Bleep inpatient physiotherapist when in hospital or ask a nurse to arrange a referral
