    Mr Ashok Sethi has pioneered in the UK and internationally the art and science of surgical and restorative implant dentistry, and has over 36 years of experience with implants.

    His systematic application of sound biological principles, research data and clinical experience has resulted in outstanding success rates in terms of predictability, as well as aesthetic and functional outcome.

    Mr Sethi was a board member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons of England for 12 years.

    He has conceived and taught the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This course is recognised as the gold standard in training courses in implant dentistry by the General Dental Council.

    Mr Sethi is also currently collaborating with international institutes to further promote his unique approach to professional development and raising standards across this emerging field.

    He is the director of the recently established PID – Academy providing postgraduate education and training in practical implant dentistry.

    As the founding member and past chairman of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) of Great Britain, he has been a major contributor to the largest dental implant organisation in the United Kingdom. He was recently awarded the honorary life membership of the ADI. He is also a founding member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD).

    He has been elected to the IAOFR (International Academy of Oral and Facial Rehabilitation), which is a select international group of 40 highly influential professionals.

    Mr Sethi has published broadly culminating in the seminal bestselling textbook “Practical Implant Dentistry" (co-authored with Dr. Thomas Kaus) which has been translated into 10 different languages. The second edition – "Practical Implant Dentistry – The Science and Art" has recently been released.
