Mr. Nitin Shetty is an Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest is Spinal surgery.

He has completed his Orthopaedic training from London/KSS deanery. Following this he completed Spinal fellowships at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and then at Guys and St.Thomas` Hospital. During the 2 years of fellowship, he has been trained in Spinal deformity cases and also in minimally invasive surgical procedures.

He has been involved in full time research and this led to a Masters degree by submission of a thesis at Sheffield University. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented and co chaired sessions in international conferences. He is a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for junior trainees and Orthopaedic Registrars.

His NHS practice is based at Whittington Hospital and he has a special interest in minimally invasive spinal operations. His present work includes treating degenerative spinal conditions, infection and fractures.
