    Edward Leen is Professor of Radiology in the Faculty of Medicine at the Imperial College London based at the Hammersmith Hospital Campus and is the Lead for the Ablative services for the Imperial College London NHS Trust Hospitals.

    Professor Leen established and runs the clinical percutaneous ablative therapies of liver, lung, and renal cancer services across the Imperial College London NHS Trust Hospitals with research interest in electroporation (RE and IRE-NanoKnife) and sonoporation for hepatic and pancreatic cancers combined with systemic therapies as well as fusion and navigation technologies to improve guidance. He pioneered the clinical use of microbubble contrast agents for diagnostic and interventional applications in oncology. He leads the clinical ultrasound research group with interest focused on the microbubble ultrasound assessment of tissue perfusion and inflammation.
