Haematology Consultants

Diagnosing and treating blood disorders in London and Manchester.

Haematology is concerned with blood formation and the disorders that occur when the processes break down.

Haematology services at HCA UK

We offer an extensive range of haematology services - from diagnosing anaemia to evaluating the risk of bleeding during and after surgery and treating leukaemia. Our consultant haematologists work across specialties and run a number of abnormal blood clinics including thrombosis, bruising and anticoagulants. They aim to see all new haematology patients within 48 hours, and supervise our pathology labs to pick up irregularities quickly.

The Harley Street Clinic carries out all forms of routine and specialist blood testing including molecular imaging. Christie Private Care in Manchester is home to the only haematology and transplant unit outside of London. The London Cancer Centre at London Bridge Hospital has its own haematological oncology department. And our partnerships with LOC and University College Hospital mean we can provide the latest treatments for even the most complex of blood cancers.
