The Centre for Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Princess Grace Hospital provides clinical expertise in all aspects of gastroenterology, including upper and lower gastrointestinal disease and pancreatic disorders. We specialise in the investigation and management of all forms of gastrointestinal cancers, and our physicians and surgeons work closely with our oncologists to ensure that the provision of care for our cancer patients is of the highest calibre. A number of our consultants specialise in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and microscopic colitis, and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
We have dedicated consulting rooms, and many clinicians also work from their established practices close to the hospital. Diagnostic tests and examinations are performed either at the hospital, at our Endoscopy Unit or within associated departments at our central London hospitals.
If you visit the Centre for Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, you will benefit from:
- Access to the latest state-of-the-art endoscopic technology as well as a world class radiology and imaging department
- A multi-disciplinary approach to the investigation and management of your gastrointestinal disorder – our gastroenterologists work together with our surgeons and have close links with the departments of histopathology, haematology, biochemistry and clinical nutrition to provide the best possible care
